Newark Clergy, Community To Honor Late Airport Worker

Newark, NJ— Tomorrow local faith leaders will gather in Terminal C at Newark Airport to hold a special vigil in honor of an airport worker who passed away recently. Airport workers are making poverty wages and living paycheck to paycheck while working for multi-million dollar airline companies. As the PANYNJ’s September 30th deadline approaches -highlighting the need for a plan for enhanced wages and benefits that includes health benefits- clergy and airport workers will delegate AirServ, a contractor that is yet to comply with the first deadline of a $ 1 dollar raise starting July 31st.
