Building Service Workers’ Union Endorses Governor McKee for Re-Election

Members of 32BJ SEIU will volunteer to get out the vote through Election Day

UNIONDALE, New York—Local 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union announces its endorsement of Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee for re-election. The union represents hundreds of janitors, security officers and other members who live and/or work in Rhode Island.

“As we draw close to election day, members have stood up to say that Dan McKee is far and away the best gubernatorial candidate to help better the lives of working people in Rhode Island, and we are proud to offer him our endorsement,” said Dan Nicolai, the Rhode Island District Leader of 32BJ SEIU. “The Governor’s re-election is crucial to ensure the forward progress of our state and the fair treatment of immigrants, people of color, and all those who are most affected by the rising cost of living today. We encourage all Rhode Island voters on November 8 to choose Dan McKee as governor.”
