Dozens in Stamford to Rally in Support of a Path to Citizenship

Stamford – In celebration of Flag Day, 32BJ members, immigrant workers and their supporters will rally outside the Stamford Government Center tomorrow to thank Connecticut’s congressional delegation for their continuous support of immigration reform. 32BJ members will also unveil a handmade flag of the United States to echo the immigration reform movement’s call for an accessible path to citizenship in the bill being discussed in Washington.

Representatives from U.S. Senators Blumenthal and Murphy’s offices, and Congressman Himes’ office

 

With more than 125,000 members in nine states, including 4,500 in Connecticut, 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
