New York – As onlookers cheered, supporters of commonsense immigration reform from 32BJ SEIU took over Times Square Wednesday morning with a card stunt to spotlight the growing urgency for immediate federal action.

“The Time Is Now:  We Are America” was the message seen by thousands of passers-by and window-gazers from high above the TKTS staircase in Father Duffy Square.

This morning’s card stunt was part of a week-long series of large-scale actions up and down the East Coast and across the country, culminating in a rally of tens of thousands of people in Washington DC this afternoon.
