Bergen County, NJ— 32BJ SEIU, the largest property service workers union in the country, representing office cleaners, residential workers, school cleaners, food service workers and now over 1,700 security officers among various other property sector workers, proudly endorses Jim Tedesco for Bergen County Executive.

“We strongly believe that Tedesco will continue to fight for working families throughout Bergen County with the same vigor he has shown as Bergen County Freeholder and previously as Mayor of the Borough of Paramus,” said Kevin Brown NJ District Director and Vice President of 32BJ SEIU.

“As a union representative and member of Pipefitters Local 274 and UA Local 855 AFL-CIO for 20 years, Jim Tedesco understands the struggles of working families and the need for progressive legislation to improve the quality of life for working families through economic development and social justice,” said Brown.

“Tedesco has a long track record of fighting for working families,” said Kevin Brown. “As Bergen County Freeholder, Jim Tedesco has supported Standard Wage legislation ensuring that if a worker in Bergen County works in a government building or for a building that receives public funding, they will be paid the same as 32BJ members in the private sector: equal pay for equal work.”
