Pittsburgh — Today, The SEIU Pennsylvania State Council announced its endorsement of Emily Kincaid in PA House District 20.

“SEIU believes in Unions for All Pennsylvanians, whether black, white or brown and no matter where they come from,” said Gabe Morgan, President of the SEIU Pennsylvania State Council and Vice President of SEIU Local 32BJ. “We know that Emily Kincaid will make sure that every worker, from House District 20 and beyond, has their voice represented in Harrisburg.”

SEIU, with its understanding that success for working people must include a living, fair wage for all, a healthy environment, the right to organize, and inclusive, diverse workforces, is the future of unions. We can only accomplish this if we have voices in Harrisburg that will champion our most marginalized communities. After more than a decade of working from the outside to make changes, I am proud to stand alongside SEIU and bring this fight to Harrisburg for District 20 and for all workers across Pennsylvania.”

With nearly 1200 SEIU members, HD 20 boasts one of the highest percentages of SEIU members of any House district in Pennsylvania.
