NEW YORK, NY— The members of SEIU 32BJ, the largest property services union in the country, today announced endorsements for 16 members of Congress, 37 members of the NY State Senate and 85 members of the State Assembly. Most of the candidates supported by the union are incumbents.
“Our members are focused on candidates who have proven their commitment to fighting for issues that will make our communities stronger and promoting issues that will improve the lives of working people in New York, including winning healthcare for airport workers in the New York State legislature and other needed reforms for economic, immigrant, racial and climate justice,” said 32BJ President Kyle Bragg. “In Washington DC – these candidates are fighting for a national $15 minimum wage and protections for Dreamers and TPS holders. We strongly support these candidates and encourage them to continue their important work in Washington, DC, and in Albany to advance a pro-worker agenda.”
