Washington, D.C. – On behalf of 10,000 property services workers in D.C., among over 175,000 in 12 states, 32BJ SEIU today announced their strong opposition to the campaign to recall Ward 1 Council member Brianne Nadeau. Attributable to 32BJ SEIU Executive Vice President, Jaime Contreras:

“The men and women who keep our buildings safe and clean support Brianne Nadeau because of her strong leadership championing bills that make a measurable difference in their lives. The last thing low-wage workers need is a needless recall campaign that offers no reality-based solutions that could jeopardize all of the gains they’ve made.”

With more than 175,000 members in 12 states, including over 21,000 in the D.C. area and Baltimore, 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
