BFC Hires Responsible Contractor at Residential Buildings in NYC

The following statement may be attributed to Kyle Bragg, Secretary Treasurer of 32BJ SEIU:

“32BJ was pleased to hear the news that BFC quickly addressed the wage theft issue at Jupiter 21 by firing its irresponsible contractor, Elite Investigations, which stole nearly $95,000 from its building service workers. It is also encouraging to hear that BFC plans to bring in a responsible contractor at both the Jupiter 21 site and the Empire Outlets when they open. When developers like BFC ensure good jobs for local workers they contribute two fold to the communities they are building in. We look forward to working with BFC as the developer prepares to starts new projects in Staten Island and many more to come,” said Kyle Bragg, secretary treasurer of 32BJ SEIU, the largest property service union in the country.
