32BJ Endorses Slate of Progressive Leaders for Re-election in NYC Races

NEW YORK—32BJ members today announced their endorsements for progressive leaders in New York City government. As President Trump’s administration and Republicans in the Senate and House are pushing anti-worker and anti-immigrant policies at the federal level, it is more important than ever, to have local leaders who will stand up for working people.

“New York City must remain a place where progressive policies and laws protect the most vulnerable among us,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. “We have endorsed these leaders because of their history of standing up for working people, immigrant rights, good public education, affordable housing, criminal justice, police reform and other issues that are important to our members and their families.”

SEIU local 32BJ proudly endorses these candidates for re-election and will work with them to ensure they keep making this city a good home for working families:
