32BJ Calls on S.J. Jung to Remove Photo of Union President Hector Figueroa from Campaign Literature

NEW YORK– 32BJ SEIU today called on S.J. Jung to remove a photo of union president Hector Figueroa from the candidate’s campaign literature. 32BJ members have endorsed Jung’s opponent, State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky in the race.

“Our members endorsed Senator Stavisky in this race because her track record of support for working New Yorkers and her respect for all people in our city makes her the best choice to represent Queens,” said 32BJ President Hector Figueroa. ” S.J. Jung should stop using campaign literature with my photo immediately since it misrepresents the union’s position in this race.”
